IR Electrical Escorting Overview
IR Electrical Escorting is a mobile application designed for the Indian Railway Coaching Depot's onboard electrical escorting personnel. Developed by the CMM group of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), this app streamlines various tasks for users. It enables them to provide escorting remarks, track defects in coaches, document actions taken to address these defects, check service requests like Rail Madad complaints, report fuel consumption, monitor Head On Generation (HOG) operations, and track DG Set running hours in real-time.
By utilizing their mobile devices, users can significantly reduce data entry delays and enhance operational efficiency within the Indian Railway system.
